I can't find the price on this unit, but it doesn't matter as I know I'm not gonna be able to afford it. But how cool would this look under the hood of an mgb???

Looks cool & I looked at their web site... but I still don't see any sort of throttle control.  What am I missing.

The throttle shafts are vertical (with linkage hidden below), so all you can see in the photo above are bearing bosses except for a throttle position sensor atop the furthest away (#8) runner.  I wouldn't be surprised if they left some of the linkage off for the sake of a prettier picture. It certainly is a pretty picture!

Looks good, too bad they ran out of funding, and had to paint the rocker covers, in Red Oxide. Wrinkle finish is just slightly more.  roverman.

Jim Inglese may have one of his cross rams left. Last time I checked it was $5295.00 including the manifold, carbs, and linkage. Supposed to be ready to run out of the box.

You'd still need to source the carbs (not cheap) and come up with a linkage but I actually seriously considered this at one point. You may be able to bolt up the Weber look alike EFI units that are available. Sure would be sweet to see.

Rob, Mooney's intake manifold looks quite a bit different than the top Kaase intake manifold.  The Kaase I/M seems to be strictly developed for electronic fuel injection; my thoughts.

Agree - $600 would be better but even $895 isn't bad.  Other than the EFI kits that use a regular intake and carb looking throttle body, this is the first  set up for the ford that I like the look of.  I'm still holding out for the prices to come down a bit.  When I do switch over I want both efi and distributorless timing control.

I wonder if it would improve the under hood clearance any? Seems like it should. BTW, when I looked at something similar about 6-7 years ago, the price was $1200 from an Australian outfit that was offering them. I think the Mooney intake is a relatively recent offering.

Looks awesome until you have to add filtration.

Probably true.  That's where the rear distributor on Chevy's comes in handy so the throttle body and filter can come off the front center.
