What front valence options do I have on a rubber bumper mgb? Are the cb/rb valences interchangeable?

I've seen what moss has to offer but I'd like to find out what else is out there - pics would be great too.

Thanks guys

I installed the Moss "urethane" air dam on my car car a long time ago, and it has held up well.

This article has photos, descriptions, and pricing for the Preform Resources / Dave Craddock options: http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/2010-TechSessions.htm  Dave is a meticulous guy and his molds are newer so these will probably fit best, right out of the box.

Thanks for the reply Curtis and Dave. I'm actually looking at the RV8 hood y'all have - it looks great! I need some extra clearance above the plenum so its either a fantastic looking hood or possibly getting Mr. Bowler to help me during my summer internship.

Thanks for the kudos Curtis !
Robert, are you working on Don Munoz' new car with James?
Dave

I've worked with him a little bit on the cream/green GT - is the Don Munoz car a new project? My last exam was today, but I'm going to request a week to finish my MG and help my family with things around the house/garden. If there is another GT, that would be awesome - his attention to detail on the first car is amazing!

Yeah ,, that's the one,,, Munoz is hot to trot!!!

Question - a friend of mine has a 'special tuning dam' for sale..

In the moss catalog it list this as a compatible with chrome bumpers.. will it work with rubber bumpers?

I imagine the answer is no - but how much modification is needed?

Dave -  I see that your valence is compatible with the rubber bumper model so it might
be the better way to go - plus it sits lower then the 'special edition 1980 dam' that moss carries
and has better aesthetic appeal in my opinion.

Thanks

I have a rear bumper from a 92ish Maxda RX7 that I plan to install on the front of my flared MGB.  It's not installed yet, but held in place with some duct tape, it looks like it will work out very well.  It's made from a soft urethane material and will bend into shape nicely after a little trimming.  Trick is to mount it upside down.  It will wrap around the front and give a newer 911 look to the nose.  The lip that was designed to go under the rear hatch of the RX7 will stick down like an air dam on the NMGB.  I know it's hard to picture, but in person it looks sweet.
