"Let's go y'all... Someone has to be taking pics, let's see um..."
I second that motion Rob.  At least we could have a bit of vicarious participation.:-)

Yeah! I will third that one. I will miss seeing everyone.

OK - here are a couple of shots as we lined up for the first drive to Sevierville and the Tennessee Aviation Museum.  Had one breakdown - Ken Nicks in his lovely '51 Jag Saloon with rear suspension issues.  I'm sure more info will follow, but bottom line is that he'll be back on the road this afternoon.

Will post more pics as I get them, and I imagine others will contribute.

Thanks Mickey.  Y'all have fun today!

The bushings in the links for the rear shocks deteriorated to the point where the link slipped from its mount and fouled on the suspension hanger; plus the shackles were upside down (may have happened when the suspension bottomed out because of the problem with the links).  No bushings available, so Jim Watson took the links ("dog bones") to his garage and welded washers on them to hold them in place.  (Hope I have this right; kinda hard to describe.)  Anyway, Ken's back on the road and we'll be off to dinner in a couple hours.

Ok, I thought I'd like the pics...  But they just reinforce how much fun we're missing!  Wish I were in the parking lot about now.  Tell everyone I said hi.

Rob, perhaps we will have a " Parking Lot  Toast"  later for our friends that were unable to attend?   Yea, we can do that!

britcars

Kelly, I should have shipped a couple of Moosehead for a toast.  Did Curtis make it from WA?

Ed and Denise thought it might be nice to have a photo to remember the meet by.

Apparently Rick volunteered to take it for them. Rick's photo probably looked something like this re-creation.

I saw a photo opp and reached for my camera, and then Carl grabbed his phone and went in for the kill...
image.jpeg

Evidently, Carl didn't realize he was giving me an even better photo opp...

A good chuckle was shared by all...

Graham, only 38kph?  Mine was reading 60.  Good thing it wasn't set to kph or it would have read 96.5.  ;)

Got it Mickey. Cost me 4 hours of my life engrossed in all things Cigar Box Guitar.  :)   That is one waaay cool guitar Matt built for you!
