The Ninety-ninety rule. I quote it often. Aparently it comes from Tom Cargill of Bell Labs, software engineering:

I have to get it tuned first and that should happen in the next couple weeks. I also have to fix the fender rub problem - going to start tomorrow on that.

Sounds great.  That does good things for my soul.

As I  struggle and claw my way through a basic carbed 5.0 conversion,asking a million dumb questions along the way; I stand in awe!

Jim, That's great news !  When can WE go drifting ??  Seriously-tho, were is your first event, to be ?  Congrulations, roverman.

I still have to get a cop to verify the VIN number so I can get my plates. Then I have some assembly to do (headlights, tail lights, doorsso I can drive it over to get tuned. It will be a while before it's ready for prime time - finish aligning the wheels, make a hood and roll bar, put some sort of interior in the car (I can still look right at the battery and watch the driveshaft go around) and paint the thing .

Looks amazing and sounds great!
