I've seen some on ebay but most are shipping from overseas/aren't worth shipping and the wait.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

If you're talking about the "factory V8" style, Bob Ford might have one in stock. He has sold them in the past.

I am not sure where you are at but there are several hot rod type radiator shops which can build and configure a radiator based on your dimensions. I had mine built locally at PRC (which is online). I specked the size, the flow direction (vert/hor) the outlets, cap and temp port.

I got mine from SC parts in England. They have free shipping sales from time to time, I got it for $175 over the summer, factory v8 radiator to origional spec.

Is it possible to rotate a crossflow 90 deg ? I've seen this done, no personal experience. Seems like if it fit between frame rails, it could be quite tall (area). Good Luck, roverman.

There are no performance advantages to either a down flow or crossflow rad - the difference in the two configurations is for reasons of chassis cooling system packaging.
With due regard to fill and port locations, just turning a rad 90 degrees probably wouldn't work most of the time.
