I'm looking into alternative A/C compressor brackets for the Camaro 3.4 v6.  The stock location
sticks out too far on the right side to fit my '58 Volvo without doing major structural surgery.

I've discovered that It would be possible to free up the space taken by the power steering pump
by using an electric pump - Volvo, Toyota MR2, Mini all have this type of pump.  I found a pretty
decent video on Youtube that describes an install of a Volvo pump on a Fox body Mustang.

Does anyone know of brackets that would allow me to retain a serpentine belt system and the factory
coil location, while locating the A/C compressor close to the block on the left ( driver's ) side, maybe in
space formerly occupied by the power steering pump ?

Doug,

Sorry I missed this, and other things... We are coming out with a few different brackets for the MGA with-Out power steering, but has A/C. This would not allow for power steering, so it wouldn't work in the Volvo without additional changes from what I understand.
