I am in the middle of an MGB conversion with a Rover V8 and Rover 5-speed transmission, and I am having trouble getting a clutch hose built.  The slave cylinder takes a 12mm-1mm male, and I've managed to get my hands on one of those.  If I can just get the junction fitting, that connects to the hard line and clamps to the bracket, I should be able to get those assembled on a hose.  Does anyone know where I can get that original MGB fitting, not already mated to a hose?  Of course, if someone knows where I can get the whole hose built, even better.

Thanks!

Billy, you should be able to get the adaptor you need for both ends and have the line made up with AN or JIC fittings by your local hydraulic shop, or you can buy the braided teflon AN hose and make up your own line if you want. Adaptor fittings for various metric plumbing threads are available from Pegasus Racing. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=PLUMADAP12MM This page should show the adaptor for the 12mm-1mm fitting you need. They should also have the correct fitting for the other end as well, but a -4 AN male union will screw into and seat in the MGB clutch master cylinder if you can't find the specific adaptor.

I'm not sure I understand everything above, (e.g. "connects to the hard line and clamps to the bracket,") but dash-3 ("3AN") hose and a whole lot of different fittings can easily be bought from Pegasus (www.pegasusautoracing.com). Their catalog is quite helpful for planning/visualizing plumbing solutions, and they're where I've always sourced brake/clutch fittings.

Bill beat me to it!

If you talk to someone at Pegasus, why not suggest that they should consider sponsoring BritishV8?

Here you go, Billy.  Performance British is located near Ottawa, Ontario and sell parts suppled by Clive Wheatly in the UK.  I used this clutch hose on my car with no issues.

For $49, you can't really go wrong.

Can anyone list the fittings and hose from the MGB clutch master to a CNC slave that they have used?
Thanks,
