I always loved Jim Stuart's conversion, especially the steelies and the color-coded hard top. After all I have gone through getting mine on the road, $12k seems like a steal!

Yes, that is a great car for that money. Jim put much time & effort into that conversion.  I would jump all over it if I had the cash.  It is not a 1966 MGB, though. It started life as a RB car. One of the few roadster conversions with A/C.

We saw his yellow GT at MG 2016 in Louisville.  Didn't get to talk to the current owner.

Go ahead and try a lowball offer. The seller is obviously clueless. But act quickly. I've driven this car, and it's one of my favorite MGB V8s.
