MGB body reinforcements for IRS?

Hi everyone,

I've read a lot about useful reinforcements of the MGB unibody frame when retaining rear leaf springs on a V8 conversion, but I haven't seen much discussion about reinforcements needed when using an IRS setup.

I'm planning to use a bolt-on Hoyle IRS assembly, which uses many of the factory rear suspension mounting points.  However, I expect the stresses on the frame will be applied to different points, given the changed geometry.

Anyone out there have experienced to share?

On the Jag conversions I used a member which tied the two front spring hangers together and in the center butted up against the lip on the panel that forms the bottom of the driveshaft loop using a 1/4" thick nylon wear strip to handle thrust loads.
