We are a 50 year old machine shop located in long island new york. While we were in the process of thinning down our collection of muscle car engine parts,we have come across what looks like 3 buick aluminum short blocks and heads with rocker shaft assembly. We also have a bare 6 head bolt olds block.Contacting mark at D+D suggested that we post up an ad here.We can ship anywhere domestic, international,or just take a road trip and come and see us for a local pickup. We will entertain offers for these pieces, but please dont lowball us as this is not a fire sale. You can contact us direct at
skspeed@optonline.net or 631-957-9525 ext6.Please ask to speak with kevin or jeff.Pictures and a more complete list of parts coming this week,as these are buried deep in some pallet racking.Additionally, these cores can be cleaned or machined to any level by us.We are a full service macine shop that specializes in restoration work.Thank you in advance...

It is good to have the parts available, but the rules here say the asking price must be given. Any chance you could correct that?

Sorry for the delay coming back to the forums as we are very busy right now. After pulling all of the parts down and out to look at them ,we see now that there are only 2 short blocks with heads and one 6 head bolt block with main caps.We are looking for $350-$400 range for the engines, and $250 for the bare 6 bolt block. These prices are not set in stone as we are willing to negotiate. They have oil pans and timing covers, but no intake manifolds. Here are a few pictures.Any questions please call kevin or jeff @ 631-957-9525 ext6.

That's an unusual pan on the blue block. Is that the Olds? Possibly a boat motor? Some information about the ridge/bore size/taper would probably help you sell them.

No the olds is a bare block. Not sure of the origin of these engines,it may well have been a marine application at one time.As far as ridge, bore, taper, all of that is a moot point as these cores will need to be fully rebuilt. What I did come across today was a pair of 4 head bolt heads and some brand new g.m. shafts and rocker arms in boxes. We believe that they are from the olds 300?I have uploaded a picture if it helps.By next friday if there is no interest with you guys here, the stuff will be going up on ebay.Thanks.

Yeah, Olds never had a 300.  It should be for a Buick 300.
