...and you'll find the new registration form and other useful info on our website's "Meetings" page.

You can also download the registration form by simply clicking here: http://www.britishv8.org/BritishV8-2011-Registration.pdf

This year's meet will be held on "The Peaceful Side of the Smoky Mountains", in Townsend Tennessee. (Peaceful until we get there!) The dates are May 15 through 18, and the host hotel is The Tally-Ho Inn. It's a really lovely place. Bring your family and friends.

Dan Masters has planned a diverse schedule of events, and he's working hard to bring it all together. Please notice that the registration form includes ordering information for an especially exciting range of BritishV8 apparel. One hundred percent of clothing profits go toward covering Dan's meet preparation expenses - so I heartily endorse the idea of registering early and also pre-ordering a bunch of meet clothing. (Bonus: the more clothing you buy, the less clothing you have to pack for your vacation in Townsend.)

Hey Dan!

What colour will the shirts be this year...and will they be embroidered or screenprinted?

danmas

Rick,

They will be embroidered.

I haven't selected a color yet, but I'm leaning towrds either fleshtone or ultra-violet.

Actually, I'm thinking of deep purple, deep green, or deep blue. What does every one prefer?

mowog1

I'm sure that you will make the correct choice of colours, Dan!

Bill Young

I like the purple idea Dan, would match Rick's GT then.

Merv

Bill, what do you think, Should we even make a suggestion as to what the color should be?

Address corrections: I screwed up! The correct postal address is PO Box 4544. I've sent Curtis a corrected version of the registration form.

Sorry about that.

Dan,

You are the one that is doing the heavy lifting for 2011. I think the shirt should match YOUR car. :)

Merv

Dan, Although I hate to admit it, I think Carl's suggestion for shirt colors is great.

Will these shirts be available to those of us that can not make it to the meet?

A new automated/online registration form has been added to the Meetings page.

(To see it, click on the "Meetings" button at the top of this page and then scroll down.)

The default value for number of registered attendees is set to zero, but you can enter "0" in that field if you just want to order shirts or if you want to add a shirt order to a previously made registration.

Yes, they will. I will have to add a postage fee for mail delivery, so contact me via e-mail before ordering, please, so I can calculate the amount. Postage will, naturally, depend on how much you order and where you live.

You can order either by using the printed form and omitting the registration entry, or online by resetting the registration number to zero, as suggested by Curtis above (the default value is "1").

If ordering online, just add the postage to the total and enter in the "confirm total and re-enter" block. i.e., if you order two medium T-shirts, the" TOTALS" block will come up WITH $30.00. If the postage is $5.00, for example, then you would enter $35.00. The amount in the "confirm total and re-enter" block is the amount you will be charged regardless of what it says in the "TOTALS" block.

Sheese, technology is confusing.

The shirts will be dark green.
