Does someone have a MGB stub-axle/steering knuckle lying around, and be willing to take a few measurements? What I need is the length of the stub axle itself, from the machined face to the threaded end, and if possible the lengths of the bits where the bearings seat, the tapering bit in between, and the threaded bit. I've got the relevant diameters on record.

It would be much appreciated.

Bolt-on wheels or splined? I have bolt on front hub I just removed and can give you the measurements. Let me know.

Aren't the stub axles the same? The wheel bearing spec is the same for bolt-on and splined. As far as I can tell only the hubs themselves differ. If that is the case, presumably the inside dimensions of the hubs would be the same. As it's really the inside profile of a splined hub I'm interested in (trying to figure out how I'd go about fitting it to an early Ford stub-axle) I'm sure some measurements of the inside of your bolt-on hub would help.
