How safe is driving wire wheels with 1-2 spokes missing?  Also, could someone help me out with the bolt pattern of a Stag?

Ok I found the bolt pattern. But could someone please chip in about how safe it is to drive around with 1-2 spokes missing??
I am trying to get a much neglected Stag back on the road and need to know where to put the $$.
Any input would help!!

Missing, or broken? The biggest risk from a broken spoke is that it will puncture the tube and cause a flat. If the rest of the spokes are tight you can get by with it for awhile but if you break more than 2 or 3 of them it's time to change the wheel to something stronger.

I have driven on wheels like this. Better to not go racing but you can run on these. Listen to what Jim says above!
