2-3 weeks ago I sent a email to Gil, since I have not  heard from him in awhile.  This am, his wife replied he passed   Oct. 12, 2019.  Gil's yellow MGB was one of the early conversions.  Had the pleasure of meeting him in Cornwall NY and traveling down to Belleview Ont. Ca for the National Meet in 2012 or 13.   A true Gentleman.  RIP  Gil

I connected with Gil and his wife several years ago when they toured the Maritimes and passed through Fredericton in their yellow MGB conversion. Spent some time with them, a very nice couple and a pleasurable meeting. RIP Gil.

Gil was a great enthusiast.
