1963 Buick 215 block with 1964 Buick 300 aluminum heads & 300 crankshaft   VERY RARE !

300 crankshaft already professionally installed in the block. And the front cover and oil pan. but many Buick V6 front engine covers will also fit making use of newer parts for this build.

You will need new cast iron liners and re bore plus pistons, rods etc for a killer engine of your choice of displacement.. Many off the shelf parts fit this motor which keeps the cost down.

This was a spare engine I have been saving for another project but looks like I may not get around to it. The ultimate set up for many small British sports cars.
Asking $2,200 or serious offers only.

Same engine is in my Lotus Elite shown on this site. 298 cid professionally built by Phil Baker in Seattle.
Crankshaft was installed and block was line bored when fitting the crank by a pro race engine builder. done correctly
Shipping extra to be paid by buyer. I am in Seattle

This is the lightest combination for a truly overbored and stroked V8 beauty and perfect for a sports car.

Colin Chapman said to " just add lightness."

Actually the lightest V8 to come out of Detroit at just over 300 lbs stock. And lighter than many Cosworth racing V8s.

ALREADY INSTALLED,
The '64 Buick 300 crank increases the stroke from 2.8 to nearly the stroke of a small block 350 Chevy (3.48)  to  3.4 inches and is easily felt with the right foot....... a noticeable increase in torque.

Machining the crank to fit the block was over $1,000

thanks,
Richard

Do the 300 heads have standard sized valves or have they been oversized??
