I recently purchased a 1959 ah bn6 with a 250 chev in line six motor and tremec 5 speed. the drivers side footbox had been cut to provide space for a push slave cylinder attached to the gm bell housing. I  welded up the footbox area . so  the slave cylinder had to be moved. hence, the howe racing hydraulic throwout bearing.i believe that the engine is a late sixties Camaro in line six. the problem that I have is that the engine has the six cylinder clutch and pressure plate which has the flat fingers on the pressure plate. this pressure plate requires a longer throwout bearing and the howe unit will not work without hitting the face of the pressure plate.  I need a pressure plate with the raised fingers....this will give me an additional one half inch less distance for the throwout bearing to account for before release of the clutch. the tremec is from a v8 car and has the 26 spine input shaft, etc. does anyone know if the v8 pressure plate and clutch will interchange with the six cylinder clutch and pressure plate. I really do not want to mount a pull type slave cylinder and now that I have corrected the footbox I posively do not have space for the push slave cylinder. unfortunately none of the local parts houses have a clutch and pressure plate on the shelf to make a comparison. and yes, I already have a sbc powered bn6 but also wanted the six cylinder car as well.    thanks for any help or constructive advice!!!

Try searching through the RockAuto catalogue for a 10.5" dia clutch with 1-1/8" x 26T spline ...you would have to search applications that would have used the BW T5 or Tremec xsmn.
There is a 9-11/16" clutch for a '93 V6 Camaro that might work

You should only need the pressure plate I have a new Hayes that ought to work for you, got it at a good price too. Where are you located Larry?

jim, I am in  south Carolina. yes my clutch plate is fine and has the proper splines.

May can re-drill a pressure plate to match the flywheel.

howe racing makes a spacer to fit on the throwout bearing to push the bearing one eighth of an inch closer to the pressure plate fingers...in other words they can increase the overall length of the bearing assembly. you can use two of the spacers to increase the overall length by one quarter of an inch. I did that and it gave me the necessary clearance. thanks for the help.
