After nearly 2 years of sitting on the garage floor, the 5.0 gets onto the engine stand. Time to start stripping it down.

For me, this was always the fun part!

You'd think I'd learned that after almost 24 years.

I was married for almost 30 years and the one thing I was allowed to touch on my wife's cat car was the sponge when it came time to wash it!

The Lovely Lynne and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary and her 50th birthday. ( don't tell anybody) (It's life and death really).
And I have learned  over the years to leave her vehicle alone (with certain exceptions).
Her truck must be reliable and stock appearing. But if another similar truck should appear she should be able to kill it outright.
It must also carry some 315/40/22 tires that don't really fit unless you do some serious suspension mods. (like sectioning the  control arms by 2" each.) And the supercharger needs a 20 % boost and a custom exhaust and tune.
But otherwise everything is normal.
I love that woman. And really this is easier than the LT1 Mazda 626.

Got the car out of its hiding place after a 4-year nap. Now my friends can actually see it in the garage.
