This is the later-style MGB fuel level sender with built-in pick-up as used from early 1977 until end of production:


As a fuel level sender, it's interchangeable with the earlier style... but look! That integral fuel pick-up can be used as a "return" if you're upgrading to fuel injection. That's why I bought this part, but then I decided to weld an AN bung directly onto my fuel tank. I can't return the part to Moss now - too much time has passed and I've lost my receipt - but it's in perfect, unused condition. My loss is your gain!

Curtis, is that the sender that we need to make the fuel gage on the MG-Roadmaster work? If it is, maybe we could get somebody to donate the $25 to let the Roadmaster get it?

I also have a regular MGB fuel sender here... it's the kind WITHOUT a pick-up tube attached. That one is not new, but its pretty low-mileage and it works. I'll mail that one out to Rick today to try on RoadMaster.
