i am haveing a hard time fiding all the parts for my engine i need 2 new pistons and new rings but it seems no one has them i only need 2 pistons dose any one know a good place to find them are there any parts that u can mix and match from other engines

We'll need more information in order to help you.  Buick offered the 215 with different pistons to achieve higher or lower compression ratios. So, even assuming you've got six original Buick 215 pistons, at a bare minimum, you need to know which version of the Buick 215 piston you have. Personally, I would definitely avoid mixing and matching pistons from different sources. Two different manufacturers, two different amounts of wear, etc.,... it's just not good practice.

I'd guess that Silv-o-lite might be the most commonly used piston brand for Buick 215 rebuilds, and I see that the appropriate piston is still listed in their current catalog here:  http://www.kb-silvolite.com/assets/silvolite_catalog.pdf  (page 55, part # 1718... At 8.8:1 nominal, this is a relatively low compression ratio piston. Were you looking for higher performance? How much of an overbore would you consider? Would you consider a piston that requires using different connecting rods?)

Tristan, Any job worth doing,is worth doing right the first time. That being said, if you can afford ( new pistons and rings, as Curtis says, this is the best way. Can you afford to NOT do the job right ? I believe Silvolites start at +.020" oversize. Don't overbore, more than you need.  Good Luck, roverman.

well if it is going to give me other problems then i will just have to buy all 8 new pistons and rings
 it is not bored over and i don't plan on doing that unless i have to any way
what about the intake manifold i would like to have one that will fir a 4 barrel but they all seem to cost 400 bucks for the manifold is there a way around this or is it like the pistons where i have to buy the one that cost more
