Hello all, I am looking at the VTO wheels and am wondering what kind of experiences anyone has had with them. Was thinking about the 15 X 6" fitted with 205's in the rear, trying to stay at the stock diameter with height. Will the 205's fit? I am narrowing an 8.8 and was going to go with the stock width but can go a little in either direction if needed. Also up front I am converting to the 5 bolt ford pattern which I understand shortens the track by 3/4" (3/8" on both sides), could this foul the headers coming down the wheel well? How wide do you think will fit up front? Thanks as always for all the great advice...Don Prince

Bill Davidson has VTO wheels on his GT in 15" but I'm not sure what tire size he's running. Still has the MGB 4 lug pattern though. He spoke highly of  the quality and good value for the price.

contact Pete Mantell @ www.mantellmotorsport.com.  Pretty sure he's a dealer.  If so, he'll be able to let you know what fits.

Starting in Nov I will be a VTO wheels dealer.   Keep an eye on web page.

I have a set of VTO's I picked up from Hap at ACME.  15 X 6 w/ 195/60's on them.  Stock MGB rear axle assembly (w/3.07 R&P) so a bit different from your set-up.   Happy with the wheels.  I've had them a couple of years now.   I have a Rover V8 with RV8 headers and no problems with front wheel interferences.

Not to get too far off topic but I have seen some Rota wheels on the auction site, anyone know anything about these?

Any suggestions on general fitment would be nice as well.

I can tell you this much, my experience with the 17" wheels has shown me that with the larger rims you can move the entire wheel inward, (because it clears the steering knuckle) which results in delightfully light steering even with very wide tires.
