According to the young lady at the hotel, I got the first registration for BritishV8. This event sounds like it is going to be a real riot. Thanks again to the organizers.

Just made my reservation - I know I'm going (unless I unexpectedly pop my clogs), so I may as well get it out of the way.

kayakjack

My reservation is made.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all.  I have a lot to do to the B before then!
Regards, Jack

Jack,
Do you mean to say that I am not the only guy changing all the fluids, putting on new shocks, rotors, pads, header wrap, cold air box, etc?

kstevusa

Yea!  Got my reservations today also.   Had to make it easy for Mr. Maloney to get to the  Dickel Bar!

Nope. On July the 6th, I'll be swapping the front crossmember, welding in my new roll bar, slapping in a set of piston rings, installing my spare Rover heads, etc., etc, etc........    ;)

I also just reserved a room, doesn't hurt a thing to get the reservation in early, might even get one of the more convenient rooms! (just a guess, obviously I have no insider information, he, he, he ;-)

Just made my reservations also.

All rooms are conveniently located to the parking lot that we will be using.

Smoking rooms are a little more removed than non-smoking.

I got my room reserved last night. Vacation is approved, all that's left  to do is wait for July.

kstevusa

WTG Bill!  Looks like we will have a "Great Bar".  Irish,Tn. Sour Mash, Ken. Rye and perhaps flavored Rum if Mr. Moor joins  up.  Beer, Ale & Wine optional.

Spitfire 350

You can add Guinness, Samuel Adams, and Corona to the refreshment list.

Please don't forget the Bass Ale.

No Problem Gentlemen,  BYOB,  If its not there, you did not bring it!   Probably need to be sure the trash bin is large enough, as the one in Durham overflowed before 8:00 PM.    Bud Light will also be on the menu.  Have to pay for the Super Bowl ads!
SAFETY FASTER!

'all that's left to do is wait for July."

Glad to hear that, Bill. You can just cruise on over & help me get my car ready!  ;)

Yeah, me too Bill.  I'm hoping to bring mine home from the paint shop tomorrow.  Phil's car looks just about done compared to the bare body shell I'll be starting with this week.

MGBV8

Rob, be careful with that fresh paint.  Might want to stock up on blue painters tape.

Carl and Rob, the only car I think I'll be cruising over to work on other than my Midget is the Roadmaster at the end of this month. I wish I had the time to make it over to see you both and lend a hand though, but still have to work for a living as I haven't hit the lottery yet! Carl, I figured the only thing your car would need for this year is to cut some more grooves in those tires and make them last for another year. ;-)

rficalora

LOL Bill.  I imagine Carl doing that and figuring how to shave a few pounds too.  I'm thinking on my car hydraulics, fuel lines, then wiring to essentials.  Everything else is 'optional equipment'.  OK, I guess seatbelts too 'caus I'm not planning to trailer it!
