1970 MGB conversion in Colorado, Curtis?

The Mrs. and I will be moving back to the Denver area this summer, and I will be bringing my '67 V8 conversion with me.  I not too worried about passing emissions with this car, but I also have a '70 that I have held onto with idea of installing a 300 c.i. '64 Buick motor in the car.  Am I dreaming, or will the AIR people give their blessing on this conversion?
