What About The Underslung Frame ?

I just saw an AH 3000 rear frame up close. I like ! Can we discuss pros and cons ? Going under the rear end and being straight,
  means better strength to weight. Obviously not meant for unit body cars. IF you're scratch building a rail/ rectangular tube frame,
  seems like less work without the kick-up.
