Hillman Husky.
1959.
Lifelong California car.

In one of the most bizarre V8 projects I can recall, this humble little load-hauler has been given Hokanson Tiger front suspension, a narrowed Jag rear, and partially set up for a 302.

The seller, in Camarillo, says he's had the job on the go ten years, and lost interest.

I guess most everyone is familiar with Ryan's Hillman Husky with Oldsmobile Quad 4, eh?
1971 MGB GT V8
Buick 215 w/ Rover heads, custom EFI & crank-fired ignition.
Custom front and rear coilover suspensions.

Ryan's Hillman was my first thought when I saw the post. Got to see it at Omaha Brit V8.

Neat! That's the color mine was originally. Looks like some very nice parts have been used. One thing I don't understand and seems to be common in the "modified Husky" sector is eliminating the rear side windows? I guess its a personal preference but no thanks.
