Aston Style Gas Cap

I'm looking to get an Aston/Works style gas cap to go on the C pillar of my BGT.  There are WAY too many options.  I think I've decided on a roller catch style, but am a bit shy on getting the full size cap (3.5 in).  Does anyone have a recommendation on size, where to buy, etc?  Prices are all over the place on these things (From $120 all in to $600).

I've got the Mocal brochure in front of me and am looking at the following:

Aston 2/34" Roller Catch Fuel Cap in Chrome with the alloy Flange (approx $325)
Aston 3.5" Roller Cap kit (approx $245)

Anyone have any opinions on these?

ebay has several cheaper alternatives...
......type in 'Aston fuel cap' .....'Monza fuel cap'....or equivalent.

I think I would check out a TR3 gas cap. The TR6 is bigger and more competitive looking The TR3 cap is smaller and more refined and would look much better on your car . They are not very expensive either as far as I know maybe sixty bucks or so.

My gt does have a tr6 gas cap in the C pilar.....I like it for a couple of reasons..one it looks cool...two..it has a very small separate separate vent passage cast into the exterior gas cap assembly to vent the gas tank...on the internal side of the "C" pilar there is a nipple in that side of the casting that you connect a hose to and run through the trunk floor..I'll post a pic tomorrow

What about something like this instead.  Basically a much nicer, slightly larger version if my current setup.  Wouldn't be countersunk, but you get the idea.  If I'm drilling holes on the exterior, I want to make sure I get it right the first time.

Ok, I think I figured it out, I found a screw on cap with a bezel with screws.  Should not require any modification to my current setup, and will give me the size I'm after along with some of the bulk.  Plus, this setup is 1/3 the price of the others.  Here's a quick mockup, sans the screw on cap.

Yes, I believe yours is the Newton Aero 300.  They make the one for Ridetech too, it is slightly larger with more decoration.  I just wish it was polished instead of the satin finish.  It looks great and is the one I prefer, as well as being able to lock it.  I may just break down and get the ride tech one and have it polished if it looks off.

How do you like it?  Any regrets?

Can you polish the one you like?  Or maybe take it somewhere that'll polish it for you.

My 2¢ (which is all its worth).  With the shaved badges, side strips, side markers, etc., your car is very clean and cohesive looking.  With that clean/classy look, less is more.  Now, if you want to really change the look, the gas cap, a racing number or circle for one, a stripe, etc would make it look more aggressive.  Just a different theme.

Go check out a marine supply store.
 The array of boat fuel fillers is astounding.
 Aluminum, stainless and brass are all available.
 Almost any style that you can think of.
My personal favorite though is an old wire wheel spinner.
The conversion is pretty easy.
And if you have the spinners on your wheels as well it kinda completes the look.
