Anyone on here know this car?

spoiler.JPG

Check out that rear spoiler!!!

As shown in the photo, it was formerly owned/autocrossed by Scott McQueen. Not sure if it's still in the Houston TX area.

Any help with getting the car properly documented in our Photo Gallery would be greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge it was sold some time ago...the new owner had problems with the sound level and eventually put a turbo 2 rotor in it...pumping out some 450 h.p.
Insanity at its height~ especially since the car weighed about 1380lb....

Thanks for the update Marshall. If you get any lead on the new owner's identity (preferably name and/or e-mail address) PLEASE let me know. I really want to include more competition cars in our online magazine.

I just read that the current owner's name is Jeff Kiesel, and that he won the 2007 E-modified title in it, but I don't have any contact info for Scott yet...

Same car, with new paint for 2008:

Update: it appears that Jeff also won the SCCA Solo2 E-Modified title again this year, AND wife Shawn Marie won the Ladies E-Modified title, AND Jeff won the Pro Solo title. (Pro Solo is kinda like a regular autocross, except on a much bigger, faster course.) I haven't contacted him yet, but it shouldn't be difficult now that I know Jeff's family business is

Neat car Curtis. Here's one that showed up at Spridget 50 last year. The owner is from the Springfield, MO area. There's a roots blown two rotor under the bonnet. Photo by Gryf Ketcherside

"RATS", It looks like #43 went to a "smaller barn door",(aero brake), on the back ? I just watched a nitro/injected, sbc powerd "quad",(sand drags), I bet it was a lot slower. Life in the fast lane, roverman.
