I ordered a semi-finished , engine/t-axle adapter, from Kennedy Engineering. Good price, and gives a good start, for adapting  a 60 deg. Acura MDX motor, to a Toyota MR2 Turbo t-axle.  Plate is 5/8" thick aluminum, with a .500" centerline hole, with bolt and dowel holes to fit  the motor.  I made sure the motor plate has a bigger profile  than the bell housing profile. This is a transverse/mid application, in a 914. Power will  be about 3x of the original 1.7lL type 4 engine.  Onward, roverman.

I'm trying to find the flywheel ring gear, for Toyota MR2 Turbo, circa 2002 ? So far, all I found is new stick flywheel. I want to make aluminum flywheel, so I need the gear.  Anybody ?  Thanks, roverman.

No-body-really ??    I looked at the chinese replacement flywheel, at O'reallys, typical quality, about 30lbs of coarse-grained cast iron.  Ring gear measures 10.68" dia. +/-. with coarse pitch teeth. This looking too small in dia., to run my 9.5" clutch.  I may need to go with the Acura MDX sized flywheel.   roverman.

Yota doesn't have near as much aftermarket support as Honda.

Have you tried T(u)RD?  According to wiki, they were doing stuff for the MR2 in the late 90s.  They might have old sporty parts yet.

"If" I can get the Honda starter to mate with MR 2 BH, using the large ring gear, I'll go the easier/cheaper parts,(Honda). Onward, roverman.
