First time I have seen this. Very cool, but camo arms?

After an unfortunate meeting with a deer I decided to update my "A".  One of the improvements was to use the water transfer technique to paint the grille and headlight inserts (also Frenched the headlights).

That's very cool ! Did you have to clear coat them for protection?

Mike,

It is suggested that clear coat is not needed.  However mine were clear coated.  The paint was applied over the chrome grille so we thought it best to add more protection.  The headlight inserts weren't chrome but these were clear coated also.  I was amazed at the likeness to true carbon fiber.  The photo doesn't do justice to the quality.
