SCCA National Races- at NASCAR's Kansas Speedway

The Kansas City Region of the SCCA in Kansas City and the National Office of the SCCA in Topeka, Kansas has announced the scheduling of the first ever "MAJORS" race at the newly constructed road course recently built into the Kansas NASCAR Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.  

The race weekend is scheduled for June 12, 13 & 14, 2015

I plan to prepare the SCCA GT2 MG Rover RV8 for entry into the GT2 class race.

The RV8 is presently ready for the competitiion other than a minor complication .... i.e. ..... the 3.5 Rover engine
(displacement required by the SCCA rules) is in pieces.

I have all the pieces on hand now - new racing Crower cam and new ported, polished, cc'd, matched and flowed cylinder heads, headers and manifold.

All that's needed now is assembly and a trip to the dyno - and I've got over 7 months to get 'er done.

I hope some members of the British V8 group can be on hand for the big SCCA "Major" at the Kansas Speedway.

On entry, I'll get several free pit passes for the race ..... and hope some British V8 members can join me at this
Kansas City race.  Let me know and I'll hold you a free pit pass.
