I'm installing the t5 transmission in my triumph with the r200 diff,  has anyone used this combo  with the 2,3l Ford turbo engine? Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what the drive shaft length should be. Thanks

I don't know actual length but, you can insert front yoke in transmission fully and pull back 1". Measure front to rear Ujoint and that's your needed length. Speedway Motors has driveshafts in various lengths at reasonable prices.

Find a local driveline shop in your area. Have a driveline that is matched to your transmission that is longer than you need, take your measurement that Jim said, take to the shop to be made. I have had 3 drivelines made at my local driveline shop, that have been 3" aluminum, cut down and new u-joints installed, and matched to the differential flange. They can customize u-joints to fit stuff better than anyone else, bigger caps or smaller to work with any application. It cost me $138 each time for cut down, new u-joints, and a balance. They will also use the best u-joints in the market.
