Anyone done this ? I like concept for mid-engine.  Considering Toyota MR2/turbo 5 speed., in a Fiero chassis. Thanks, roverman.

Yes see: http://www.reocities.com/MotorCity/factory/2760/Viku2.html

Link to my old website that I re-discovered by accident. Used to be a geocities.com...

I don´t know if Austin Princess was ever imported to USA but it looked like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHrBhzOXE-A

Wow ! 51% Princess, 49% Bi%$*, don't push it !  I'm remotely considering a Testarossa/Fiero kit car. Currently has the oem 4 cyl, and orig. 4 speed stick,(non Getrag 5 speed). I hope a MR2-turbo 5 speed t-axle would work. I  would like a 907 headed/RV8 also.  Time is the enemy.  Cheers, roverman.

Doesn't Kennedy sell an adapter to put the Rover in VW/914/saindrails.  A buddy of mine had the kit to put one in his Karmann Ghia, but ended up going Buick 4.1 V6.  Think he sold the kit to a guy that put one in a BMW Isetta.

Todd and clan, the porsche 914(901) box, is longitudal, was ok back in the day. Much better t-axles are available now, Audi,Toyota MR2-turbo, and more current Porsche /Boxster S. I make my own adapters/flywheels. "put one in BMW Isetta-ontoppa da motor"/lol.  Cheers, roverman.

As a matter of fact, the RV8 that I am currently building is going in a Fiero with a 4T65E transmission. They have done everything from 2.2 Etech to 8 L Cad. With a V12 BMW to Audi V8 thrown in(not literally) for good measure. A guy on Pennock's Fiero forum called "olds fiero" has been driving one with a twin turbo RV8 and 4T60 trans for 10 yrs.
