Any interest?  This would be IN ADDITION TO, not in place of, the 2015 meet being hosted in or around Indianapolis by the three stooges. There's no reason we can't have two meets each year so more people can share in the fun. These meets are the most fun you'll ever have at a car gathering.

This has been talked about in the past, but surely there is someone out near the west coast who would be willing to host/coordinate a meet out there for our western brothers.

One person, with a lot of work, can pull it off (I've done it twice, as have others). Two people working together can make it happen without too much difficulty (I've done it twice, as have others). Three or more and it's pretty easy.

Any takers? Good idea? Bad idea?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm not sure how many left coasters there are with V8 British cars but I would be willing to co-host an event with someone who has a lot more experience putting these things on than I do.

I'm definitely interested in a west coast British V8 meet and would be happy to help any way that I can.

I'm in the process of building a V-8 MGB and would love the chance to see a bunch of others to get some ideas from.
When I was building my Cobra, I went to the Western States Cobra Bash in Reno. I forget the exact number but there had to be over 200 cars at that event.

Evidently, there is not much interest. Too bad, I thought it would be big hit. I can't help but think there are a lot of conversions out in the west.

MGBV8

Being out West, they are likely scattered many more miles apart than the concentration we have. Then again, it's a looong drive to Colorado, for most of us.

Agree Carl.................2,400 plus miles each way for me.

MGBV8

Shucks, only 1400 miles each way for me. Ya know, it looks to be closer to Colorado from the West Coast.

This V8 Meet is a piece of cake compared to driving to TN for Big Bill Guzman.  Fire 'em up, Boys, it's time to ride!

Just hope I can actually make it out & not end my attendance streak.

I would be interested in a West meet. There are actually quite a few V8/V6 conversions in WA and Western Canada. The trick is to get everybody on board!
Cindy and I hope to make the CO meet this year!
