gettin a handle on the new lingo!

So, not much of a "texter" but The lovely Lynne, Megan, Lauren and Cole are dragging me into the age of electricity.
Making huge progress but they are unhappy with my seemingly rational interpretations of common language shortcuts.
Such as OMG! obviously, "Only Morris Garages" or LOL! clearly, "Leyland Or Loser ". Or even ASAP! "Austin- Speed And Power" duhhh!
Anybody got some help or assistance for a fellow OBTW, "Old Bitter Texting Whiner".
