Do You Know This Car?

I need a volunteer to help me hunt down the owner and/or builder of this nifty old MG-TD V8 race car...


(Yep, I believe that's a Chevy small block...)





Although I was in a big hurry, I did take about 25 photos of this old racer in the paddock at Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) on Thursday after the British V8 meet... but I didn't have time to hang around and meet the owner.

Obviously, I'd like to know (and publish) this car's history!

Please volunteer to help if you can.

One small clue, the car was parked next to Pegasus Auto Racing's http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/ trailer. They may know the owner...

There were LOTS of "British V8s" at Road America for the SVRA weekend, but I was there to interview one particularly exceptional British V8 racer. More about that later!
