I wonder if you guys are as inspired by this "look" as I am?

Shaun Holmes' Highly Modified 1969 MGC-GT (16 photos)

It's not a "V8", but...

I don't want to open up the floodgates and start featuring too many articles about British sports cars that still have their original (overweight) engine blocks... but cars like Shaun's are very special! Even if his engine block is only slightly bored-out, his car is otherwise pretty highly modified. Also, his photos are exceptional... and they detail many of the interesting features that make MGC's different from MGB's. Like this photo...

Why on Earth did MG scrap the MGC tooling! This engine bay just cried out for a V8.

Let me  hear some comments, guys!

Inspired? Oh Yes! I've spent a lot of time over the years getting every article and pic I can of the MGC "Sebring" cars...Basically it's my favorite car of all time...even have some hand painted pics of RMO 699F and EHW 441K on my computer room walls...and I must say thats a fine looking effort in the above pics...
