I'm getting ready to run the wires, battery cable, fuel line, and brake line to the rear of the car. If I leave the routing the same as stock will heat from the as yet uninstalled dual exhaust system damage or cause issues with the lines and wires/cable?
I do plan to install some plates between the floor and the mufflers in order to reduce cockpit floor temperature.

I ran my first conversion for over 10 years with no problems. If you want to feel more comfortabe you can put a piece of sheetmetal halfway between the pipe and wires as a heat shield

Thanks posing this question Steve, I've been pondering the same thing and was contemplating running the wires inside the car like under the console or something but then I'd still have the fuel line under the car.  I don't know how much room I'll have under the console but I'll bet I could make it work somehow.

Don't run fuel lines inside of course,  but wires are pretty easy and better protected inside. The corner by the sill is a good place and easily covered by the carpet.
