So.... He puts a Rover block onto a hot BBQ Grill to heat it up.. a bit.... In goes his gloved hand.... Out come the sleeves....  Can't do that with a Buick 215 block.  That's progress?

That´s a great video from Dave Coxon and the block is an infamous Rover P38.

AFAIK you can´t do that with a 3,5 or 3,9 block. But I guess you can also call it progress even on  a negative  scale..

Perhaps millions in use and no word on sleeve migration problems. Yankee Enginuity ? These engines are typically making double the power of the Rover. I must, at this point stress the benefits of using "Sleeve Retaining Compound" when re-sleeving. Onward, roverman.
