I've purchased a 1993 Chevy S10 2.8 engine with a T5 transmission, along with exhaust system.    This will be placed in a 1980 Spitfire.
question,
what do i need and to do to make this a carb setup (old school)     also any information on placing this engine and transmission in a spitfire.  I will also be using a Subura differential in as well,   any help in this matter would be great, also can be reached at wjb_217@yahoo.com

Sideways Holley 2 barrell on homemade adapter(modified Rochester to Holley adapter) on earlier carb or TBI manifold. Or Bill Guzman (Classic Conversions)adapter for 390 Holley 4 barrell on Edelbrock intake. 83-85 2.8 S-10 distributor. Do a search on MGExperience board. Check out my article on Toyota IFS for IRS instead of Subaru on this board. For more info PM me.

One of the big name companies makes a carb intake for the 2.8 V6, it is a 2 piece design. If you want to go that route. Carb would than be a bolt on. I am not sure what the difference in height is or flow rates.
