1962 Buick 215 V8

Motor ID: HI410748 and 312525124: Hi compression 4 bbl: 11.0 to 1 Compression, 190 OEM Horsepower. Motor uses production cast Buick pistons.

Motor came out of a 1962 Skylark 2-door hardtop. The car had 80k original miles prior to the rebuild.

Rebuild specs:

Motor had the cylinder ridges cut and was honed.
New Rings, rod and main bearings. Cam bearings were checked and are OK.

Block suction oil galleries drilled out to .50" bore, corners chamfered.  

Camshaft kit is Isky #625270, 270˚ cam with Isky lifters, pushrods, springs and keepers.

Cylinder heads rebuilt by RidgeReamers in Arvada CO.

Distributor rebuilt and has Mallory Hi-RPM points.

Motor includes a Delco Alternator, Holley 600 CFM carb with air cleaner, starter and exhaust manifolds.

Asking price: $2100 as shown. $1900 minus the carb, manifolds, starter and alternator.

Shipping: I prefer local pickup. Over-the-road transit will require a $150 crating fee to the shipper of your choice. (Shipper must be in the Denver/Boulder area.) Total weight with pallet is approximately 450 pounds. Estimated shipping costs: Estes trucking estimated a $500 charge (Dock to dock) to ship this palletized motor from Denver to Houston. If we can work out a deal, I will deliver the pallet to the Denver truck dock.
