At that price, I expect sales will be slow. A urethane air dam for MGB has been available from Moss for at least fifteen years, yet I hardly ever see one on anyone's car but my own.

I think it's one of the best looking valances and $275 for a group buy compares favorably to Moss's new valance. Flush fit also.

I have one on order. It is eurathane and fits correctly. The cost and effort required to fit a fiberglass Sebring valence probably offsets the cost.

So the good old Moss urethane air dam is clearly a bargain, right? It's just $229, and for that bargain price you're getting an air dam, not just a valance.

The OE air dam carried by Vicky ain't bad either. Plastic and about $135, it's what we used on the MG-Roadmaster. I've used them on my car for decades. Pretty durable and cheap to replace. I think it looks good too, but I'm not really satisfied with the angle the one on the Roadmaster is mounted at. I think it needs to be tilted downwards a little more.

They are totally different animals. The Moss urethane air dam cannot be used without a front bumper according to their description. The new air dam is a bumper replacement alternative to the crappy fitting Sebring style that Moss and others offer. Some people pay $600+ for aluminum so it is all personal preference.

I was comparing it to the newer fiberglass one from England in the new Moss catalog for over $300.
