Wanted: Rover 3.5 forward facing oil filter mount

I'm not sure what applications these are from but I am running into a bit of clearance problem with an Olds 215.  I've tried a stock Olds 215 mount and a Buick v6 style (roughly 45 degrees angled off of crank centerline).  Now I'd like to try a forward facing mount, so if anybody has any extras let me know.  I have been told that these were used at least on a Rover 3.5 engine although I do not know.

The one you show looks like the buick v6 style that I already have - the filter is pointing a bit off to the side.  I'm going to try to tap a pressure port into the one I have for an oil pressure gauge.  If this doesn't pan out I'll need one like the one pictured here - the filter looks to be pointed much more towards the front:

They are Rover 1969 to 1989 on the pre SD1, SD1/TR8 and Range Rovers/Land Rovers up to the 3.9-2 bolt main bearing eneinges up to 1989. Look for one from a 3.9 liter. They seam to be plentiful.

Now Mike, why couldn't you have told me about those before I had to cut my frame to get clearance for the V6 piece? Just kidding... sort of. I bought 3 different ones and still wasn't able to lay my hands on the one I wanted. Not that it matters now.

Well being a TR8 guy and typically being referred to driving  a "donor" for a MGB V8 conversion we keep these little tid bits to our selves. Its is self communication within your species to stay alive.

Purchased my adapter from D&D  - it angles the filter inboard and has some articulation to get clearance between siderail and the front sway bar.
