Of all the body mod's laid upon the "B", I haven't seen removing the horizontal side ribs and trim. Anybody ? Imagine how "clean" his would look, yes I know-a lot of work.  Cheers, roverman.

Generally, a horizontal line down the length of a car body makes the car look longer and lower...

Removing the bright trim takes only a few seconds, and I think it's a big enhancement. A lot of us have done this...

Removing the ribs from the steel panels?  It's fairly subtle. Why bother?

Take a look at a Midget, almost the same shape as the B with the same tail lights and no side sculpting.

What happened to the speedster project someone posted about a while back -- black, horizongal break-line smoothed, different windshield, etc.  He posted the artist conceptualization picture & some initial build pics but haven't seen any more in quite a while.

Is this the one you were thinking of?   http://forum.britishv8.org/read.php?13,21122    I don't think he is really eliminating the belt line except where the flares are. It looks like it is still there through the door. I do like the look of the windshield though.

That's the one; looks like my memory was off on the beltline being shaved.

When the beltline is interupted by flares, as it usually is, the "longer look" is negated. Jensen Healey- longer for a reason. 92" wb. allows for longer doors = easier ingress/egress. I might push it to approx 97", we'll see.  Cheers, roverman.
