Does anyone know if a Rover 7 qt oil pan will work on an Olds/Buick engine in an MGB?  I need a good way to control the oil in autocross application.  Baffle suggestions?? Scrapper for sure. Has anyone had a pan built for street and autocross use?

The rover pans will fit but you need to make sure that they are the SD1 style and are for the BOP/Rover SD1/TR8 and new covers with a distributor. If they are the shorter pan you can extend them for the older covers. I just bouth a u-weld-it kit for to make a road racing baffled pan and end up with 7 quarts for my TR8. You might want to go that route.

The least expensive kit for an oil pan mod is one I found at Speedway Automotive. Comes with two trap doors and a sump extension for $15. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Small-Block-Chevy-Claimer-Oil-Pan-Kits,3512.html

The kit is designed for a small block Chevy pan, but should be easy to adapt to the Buick or Rover pan. If you really want bottom end oiling protection then consider adding an oil accumulator to the system,

Well my original order from southwest was a failure so I bought two of kits and MUCH cheaper from Speedway. Thanks All!
