backwards starters

Some engines/swaps don't "want" a conventional mounted starter. Boxer motors are one example. Series II, Toyota MR2, being tranverse mounted, went with reverse mounting. Since this engine turns clockwise,(front veiw), makes this starter a potential for some of our "difficult" swaps. Good Luck, roverman.

I believe that the Honda Acura starters are also opposite rotation.

John and clan, according to "Kennedy Engineering", most 4 cyl Hondas have reverse rotation engines, ccr. starters ? Cheers, roverman.

Yep, Dont use the old trick of removing the harmonic balancer bolt by hanging a breaker bar and socket and bump the starter, it will shear off the bolt in a heartbeat.
