Not going to make it to Indy

Was iffy whether I'd have been able to get the car ready enough but was planning to trailer it either way.  Then had a medical problem flare up last Saturday.  Worked through it Sunday but lots of pain.  Went to the doc on Monday & got pain meds.  Worse Tuesday -- went back Wednesday & was told I needed surgery.  Had it done yesterday.  Minor/outpatient surgery but major pain still.  Doc says 1-2 weeks for recovery.  Can't tell you how disappointed I am.  Will be cancelling my hotel reservation later today so if they were booked up, there'll be an opening for someone else.

Sorry you  can't make it. Hope you recover soon. We'll see you next year. As soon as the car is "finished" make sure you get some photos to Curtis so we can all get a good look.
