The B looked nice when I got it. It had 33K on it and as a very low millage car no rust to speak of at all. I had looked for a year to find this baby because I changed my mind of taking on a big rebuild to make one look new. I decided why not just start with new. Doing an engine swap why start with a chrome bumper car cause if I did I would end up wanting to keep it stock. Going to put something with a lot more power more suited to what it should be.

The whole body is like that only rust where scratches are. So nice to not have to make any repairs to the body.

Making the first changes .....Lowering and changing to chrome bumpers

Put V8 bushings in lower A frame , freshening up parts as I go along. New parts , New boots on rack , fast car lowering springs.

The rest of the suspension  parts are being cleaned up too , should look like new under here when I finish. The rust is all surface rust and is cleaning off very easy. Car had 33K on it when I got it and kept in the garage by the two PO's everything is like new but for rubber and normal things.

I bought some used bumpers and all the hardware from a breaker in Birmingham and they look nice enough for right now , they are straight and I will get them re-chromed when I get everything done and respray , will be the last thing done.

First thing I did was put new tires on as the ones on it were about 11 years old, even though they looked right new I would not trust my safety to tires that old.
The windshield was cracked too so it was replaced next and all new rubber, turned out real nice.

I am working on the rear end, have it all apart putting a posi in. Cleaning all the parts up as I go along. Didn't take much as it looked to have just had a brake job done ( how nice ) !
