I've reached the clutch portion of my project. I'm working on a 74 GT with a 3.4 and V6 T5. I'm trying to use a Speedway Motors pull type slave cylinder similar to the Wilwood. I'm not comfortable with the bracket I'm using, there's just too much flex. I'm also concerned I may not have enough travel with that slave cylinder. I know the Wilwood offers a bit more, but either will require a stronger bracket than what I came up with. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions for a sturdy bracket using a pull type slave cylinder?

For a pull cylinder, on the T5 there is a tab cast into the side of the main case that I know has been used. Never looked that strong to me but I've yet to hear of a failure.

I've seen it too and I tried that way originally but it seemed to be too much of a bind. I was concerned that might be a problem.

Might check with Graham Cheswick and Mike Moor, seems like they might have made a bracket.

I just built this bracket for my Tremec 3550 5 speed which should be the same as the T5. I felt the tab on the case needed a reinforcement. Post #6 here:
