Yep, same owner of the 302 Powered 4A modified.
I was not planning to repower the 4A, but a 347 all aluminum stroker engine made itself available to me at a price I couldn't refuse.  The 302 I have been running for the past 5+ years came from a wrecked Mustang project I bought with minimal documentation on the engine build.  It has been running really well, but has shown a bit of oil consumption and increasing lifter noise, so it had to come out anyway. The quote HP for the 347 (with full build records) is stupid high, so some de-tuning is planned.  I should get the new engine later this month and will update after I get started.  Not sure yet what I will do with the 302.

December 28 update- English and gearbox came out today, always sounds so easy. Fortunately, we found very few surprises- one of the most concerning was the discovery that two of the motor mount bolts had sheered. We will be using higher grade bolts when the 347 is slotted in!
I have added a few pics of today's progress, and one of the Dan Masters style motor mounts we fabricated for the 302 - will also work with the 347.

Good things take time, and I have been on hold waiting for the new 347 for the past few months.  But it wil finally get here this next week, and the timing couldn't be better.
With the 302 out of the car, we did compression and leak down tests that indicated a problem in cylinder 4.  With the valve cover off, it was clear that one of the roller keepers had popped out - and, yes with the head off, there were marks on the piston.  But the big surprise was that the block was cracked down the bore - I never would have suspected that!
