Here's an exceptionally well-written piece on first generation Mazda RX-7 suspension mods and tuning:  https://foxed.ca/rx7manual/manuals/Setup%20and%20Tuning%20of%20the%20Early%20Rx7%20from%20A%20to%20Z.pdf

The theory and physics are solid. I think it's very cool that the author explained why and how his recommendations differ for various racing types, classes, and tracks. Our applications are quite different, but there may be ideas we can use on our British sportscars... even those of us who only occasionally see track days and then have to drive home on public roads.

The link isn't working for me, however some US sites seem to be blocked for us in the UK.

That is a Canadian site, Philip.  Try again.  If you cannot get to it,  I will find a way to get it to you.

It still doesn't work for me, although nothing pops up on screen I think it may be the antivirus software causing the problem.

Something odd is going on. I just clicked on the link to verify if it's still working. On first try, I got an error message. But I tried a second time, and the .pdf came through and displayed fine. Is it convenient for you to try viewing it from a different web browser? That might help.

I have been able to read it by accessing the article from here; https://foxed.ca/index.php?page=rx7manual
You will find it at almost the very end of the section on first generation RX7.
