Hi, my name is Terry several years back, I'm thinking around 2003 a M G  friend of my dad and me suggested that we put dad,s B on  this suite in the how it was done section with our friends help its on here as Joe Hutcherson's 4.3 Chevy  v 6 . Dad and I worked on this car 3 years together other than the time we weren't working to make a living , since that time Dad has passed away and now I'm the owner. The M G B  has always been garage kept and doesn't look any different than when it was first finished .Now after Dad's passing , about a year and half , I'm looking to do some more work to improve the handling and ride in the rear , from the 700r4 trans back as it still has the orgionial drive shaft and rear end, without changing the outward appearance , not changing parts out till I have a definite plan in place .So I guess I'm going have to do some searching to answer some questions I have . This web stuff isn't one of my strong points, thanks all.

MGB roadster ,Hot-wire Rover Vitesse V8 engine with some TVR mods ( I live just around the corner from the old TVR factory, and had some help from one of the TVR test pilots ), home made EPAS.

Yes there are a few of us Brits here along with a few other Europeans. I presume you are from the Blackpool area, I am down south in Somerset.
Most people who contribute here seem to be from the USA but their knowledge, help and guidance transverses all borders.

This is a great How-to forum. Some deep knowledge, some ingenuity, some inspiration.

Howdy, just signed up.  On and off I have owned Brit cars for the last 50 years.  None of them stayed stock.  Most were successful mods and some not so much.  Just can't leave well enough alone.  I like to see what others are doing and share some of the mischief I'm getting into.  Usually what I do does not settle well with purists.  

I'll share my thoughts if I can add to the conversation, and I'm open to helpful suggestions about my projects.  At my age I doubt I'll get involved in another restoration or engine swap, however, I will keep fiddling with other aspects of my cars.  

Lately I've been doing disc brake conversions using common parts from late model cars.  They've worked well so far.  My latest was 4 wheel disc brakes on the wife's 67 Morris Minor using Nissan 200SX parts.  The car actually stops now.  Now I'm working on rear disc for my barn find MGBGT.  Hope to have it completed in a couple of weeks.  Most of my stuff is posted over on another forum.  If interested PM me and I'll give you a link.
